What should I expect on my first appointment?

Your physiotherapist will sit down and have a chat with you to find out all about your injury. They will complete an assessment of the affected area to determine a diagnosis, explain their findings and answer questions you may have. Your physiotherapist will explain the best course of treatment for you.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in, gym clothing is great!

Where can I park?

The car park for the clinic is located to the rear of the building, accessed from Princes street, which you are able to use as a client of Step Ahead Physiotherapy.

 

How long are the sessions?

Please allow up to 45 minutes for your initial assessment and 30 minutes for follow up appointments.

 

How much does it cost?

Please refer to our prices page for our current price list.

 

How can I pay?

You can pay by cash or card.

 

What should I bring with me to my first appointment?

If you have seen a consultant or another health professional regarding your injury, please bring any details of your diagnosis or treatment you have had to date.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. Physiotherapists can assess, diagnose and treat independently of doctors and consultants. Feel free to get in contact to see how we can help you.
